Product Description

Introducing the Airflex Pro Custom Made

Choose your pump:

For professional results, we recommend a water pump with a minimum of 130psi water pressure.
Our mid-range 200- 400psi pumps are fully adjustable and will allow you to clean more quickly, with less effort and fewer wand passes.

Choose our top-of-the-range 600 or 800psi pumps for maximum durability, maximum water flow and if you want to be able to clean hard floors at high pressure using your Airflex extractor.

Pump options:

  • 130psi standard
  • 150psi high flow induction motor
  • 200psi fully adjustable
  • 400psi fully adjustable
  • 600psi fully adjustable
  • 800psi fully adjustable

Pump systems can easily be upgraded – you can start off with an entry level pump and upgrade to a more powerful pump later as and when required.

Choose your vacuum system

Our standard vacuum system has 2 x powerful 3-stage vacuum motors. This is the standard twin vacuum system used on many professional carpet cleaning machines. It provides professional soil extraction, good drying times and can power hose runs up to a maximum of 100ft.

For faster soil extraction, faster drying and longer hose runs select our heavy duty vacuum system – this gives you the maximum possible vacuum performance available on a single power cord machine.

For ultimate vacuum performance see our dual power cord Airflex Turbo and Airflex Storm machines.

Vacuum system options (available in-series or in parallel)

  • 2 x standard 3-stage vac motors
  • 1 x HD 3-stage vac motor, 1 x standard 3-stage vac motor
  • 1 x High Vacuum 3-stage motor, 1 x standard 3-stage motor (117CFM, 17″ mercury lift)

Airflex Custom Made vacuum systems are available in either in-series or in parallel motor configurations. We recommend parallel for most users, unless you do a lot of flood restoration work.

Vacuum systems can easily be upgraded – start off with a standard twin vac and you can add on an Airflex Vac Booster Box later to boost vacuum perforamance by 160CFM.

Built-in and external Magma heater options available

The Airflex Magma heater gives you very hot water straight from stone cold water in the tank with no pre-heating or secondary heater needed.

Some inline heaters need help from a second immersion heater to give you hot water at the wand, but this means you need 2 x power cords just to heat the water (plus a 3rd power cord for the machine itself). You then have to wait for the immersion heater to heat the water in the tank of your machine before you get hot water at the wand. As you can imagine, it takes a very long time to heat a 55 litre tank up from stone cold.

The Magma inline heater needs only one power cord. You get virtually instant very hot water straight from cold water in the tank. There is no need for a second immersion heater (needing an additional power cord). There is no waiting around for water in your tank to heat up.

Just switch the heater on, add cold water to the tank, and you instantly have a constant supply of hot water at the wand for carpet cleaning at up to 350psi.

The Airflex Magma heater comes with fully adjustable temperature control as standard. So if you are cleaning a heat sensitive fibre simply turn the heat down. The Magma heater can be positioned either at the machine, or inline between solution hoses close to where you are working – this gives you the quickest and best heat.

We now offer a built-in inline heater option also. This lives in the motor housing of the machine alongside the motors and pump. The built-in heater is non-adjustable and gives you hot water straight from cold.

More reasons to choose an Airflex Custom Made

Upgradeable Design

If you are on a budget, you can start with an entry level Airflex Pro 130 and then easily upgrade later on, if and when you decide you need more power. With the Airflex Booster POD, you can easily upgrade the vacuum system to similar power as our top-of-the-range Airflex Storm machine.

Airflex Booster POD upgrades the vacuum system by around 160CFM, giving you the same sort of power as our top-of-the-range Airflex Storm

The Airflex Big Airflow System

During the development of Airflex, extensive specialist advice was taken both independently and from Lamb Ametek – the World’s leading manufacturer of vacuum motors.

As a result, from the 2” hose port to the 4” exhaust, every inch of the Airflex internal vacuum system has been assessed and optimised to improve vacuum performance.

The result is a highly efficient airflow optimised extractor that gives you the best possible performance from your Airflex vacuum system. Airflex machines can be used with either 1.5” hose for convenience, or 2” hose for maximum airflow.

Large water tanks

The solution tank holds approx 55 litres, so you won’t have to keep stopping to empty and re-fill. Large tanks are all the more important now with the higher performance pump systems. The waste tank has a working capacity of approx 40 litres.

Easy van loading system

Loading and unloading Airflex is very easy. Just tilt Airflex back and roll into your van. There’s no need to lift the machine or install an expensive ramp in your van.

Easy to transport

83cm long x 43cm wide x 103cm high. Airflex is big enough to really impress your customers, but is easy to manoeuvre and lightweight compared to other machines in the same class. Airflex has huge 12″ ‘stair climbing’ rear wheels with built in shock absorbency and there’s a brake on the front caster (we think all extractors should have a brake but few do!).

Durable design

The polyethylene casing is extremely tough and won’t delaminate like fibreglass can. The Airflex machine design also helps protect protruding components like the pump regulator, solution outlet and dump gate from damage.

Top mounted controls

Pressure regulator, gauge, and all main control switches are safely situated where you want them for easy access.

Built-in power sprayer system

With Airflex you can use the power of the pump to pre-spray even large areas quickly and easily. There’s no need to go to the expense of a separate electric sprayer.

Built-in auto-feed system

With Airflex, you can hook directly into water tanks mounted in the van, reducing set-up times significantly. There’s no need to install a separate pump. Just drop the special hose into an external tank and you’re ready to go.

Easy low cost servicing and parts

Airflex machines are incredibly easy to look after. The motor housing is accessed in seconds. A vac motor can be changed in 10 minutes. The 200, 400, 600 and 800psi pump heads can be changed in as little as 7 minutes – a job that can take 1.5 hours on some machines! This means less downtime and lower servicing costs.

Because Airflex machines are manufactured in the UK, we always have large stockpiles of parts. When you need a part we will have it, which isn’t always the case with imported machines.

Local servicing network

Cleansmart utilises a National network of repair engineers. This means you can normally have your machine serviced locally, minimising both your downtime and servicing costs.

Optional remote control

At the touch of a button you can control Airflex Storm’s vacuum motors, pump or auto-empty system.

Imagine how much time you save when you don’t need to return to your machine to turn it on and off. And no more rushing to turn your machine off every time your mobile phone rings either! Considering you could be working upstairs over 150ft from your machine, this soon adds up to quite some time saving.

Airflex Storm’s remote control is a purpose built system designed to cope with the high in-rush switching demands essential for this type of industrial machinery.

The remote system is external to the machine. This means that in the unlikely event that the remote unit fails, the remote unit can be returned for repair while you continue to use the machine as normal in manual mode.

Airflex remote control fob

Optional auto-fill & auto-empty

Opt for our auto-fill system and you can hook your Airflex Custom Made up to the customer’s tap – no more filling buckets at the sink.

The Airflex Storm auto-empty system works alongside your remote control. Simply drop the auto-empty hose into a waste water tank or suitable drain (e.g. a toilet bowl). Now, whenever you want to empty the waste tank, simply activate the auto-empty system via your remote control. The waste tank automatically empties in less than a minute.

A brilliant way to empty your waste tank:

  • Adds practically zero weight to the machine
  • Draws zero electrical current
  • No pump-out pump to keep unblocking
  • No fine filters to keep unblocking
  • Very simple and very reliable

Airflex Storm’s auto-empty system saves you time and energy, while keeping all the dirty water and mess well away from your customer’s premises.

Optional Big Bore exhaust silencer

Attach the optional big bore exhaust silencer and reduce machine noise considerably. You can also use this to vent moist air away from the working area, which further improves drying times and indoor air quality. With the exhaust silencer attached, you can stand right next to Airflex Pro and talk without needing to shout – now you also have one of the quietest professional extractors on the market.

    Miss Hughes

The Airflex Pro is the BMW of carpet machines,. Looks very professional and the performance is excellent. I have upgraded as I have decided to job change, due to the high demand of people requesting my services, so I need a machine that can perform well. Would recommend to all carpet cleaners, and Julie in the office was also very helpful

    Andrew Burkinshaw

I completed a carpet cleaning course with clean smart. i was very impressed with the machines we used on the day and I decided to treat myself to a new machine. I went from my old 130 psi single vac sabrina maxi to a 400 psi dual vac with heater and I can honestly say it was an investment worth doing. The staff at clean smart were very friendly and helpful and not pushy towards a sale. The after sale support has been 2nd to none. very happy customer

  3. Andrew Dixon

Fantastic extraction machine! I love it, The machine looks very professional and the build quality is also fantastic.
I have the 800psi black model ready for when I branch in to hard floor cleaning, some of my customers children love it because it “looks like a dalek”

  4. Leigh

Absolutely over the moon with our new machine!!!

We was using the CFR Pro 500 beforehand which is in no league at all in comparison to the Airflex (400psi) – What an absolute beauty of a machine!!

It looks the part, feels the part and cleans like a pro!!

Its easy to maneuver around and the added brakes at the front mean no more worrying about where the machine may be on a unstable/bumpy surface….

This machine is so powerful it leaves carpets so much drier than any other machine we have experienced!!

I do not have any niggly issues with this machine!

Last but not least the team over at Clean Smart are an amazing bunch!! They provide the best customer service you would wish for and the knowledge is phenomenal – This also includes Derek Boulton who we trained with!

Thank you guys you have made our business Glow 🙂

I’ve had the Airflex Pro for well over 3 years now and it’s been brilliant. Build quality is excellent and it’s never let me down. I have the 400psi version which I generally run at around 200-250, maybe a little higher if I need a long hose run, and turn it down to around 150 when using a single jet stair tool or my Sapphire upholstery tool . I’ve also got the magma in line heater which hangs on the back of the Airflex for storage and provided you make a few dry passes on every section cleaned the heater keeps up very well. Plenty of power for carpets and customers are always impressed when you turn up with such a professional looking piece of kit.

Zero breakdowns since I’ve had the machine and routine maintenance mainly consists of cleaning it and lubricating the brass quick connect and pressure adjuster with silicone lubricant.

    Very happy with my purchase.

The Airflex Pro 800psi machine I have had since June 2015 is everything I could have wanted. Looks very professional and the performance is excellent. The flexibility is excellent too. From carpets and upholstery to hardfloors. At 600-700psi it will blast out the much in most hard floors. This has proved invaluable following the floods in Calder Valley recently. Matt and the team are always on hand to offer guidance. Also Derek Bolton who you will meet on the training course. So much knowledge. Thanks Cleansmart. You have really helped get Nethermoor Carpet Care up and running 🙂 Tom Molloy

Can’t praise the Airflex pro enough!
Had my machine about a year now and have to say it’s s pleasure to use. Great looks, it always gets brill comments, and very easy to use. Fantastic results and excellent back up advice from the guys at Cleansmart. Highly, HIGHLY recommended!

  8. Michael Houlton

We’ve had the Airflex Pro 600 since 2009 and have been very impressed. It certainly deserves a Long Service Medal.
    The features we really like are;

    a) It’s easy to get in and out of the van and manoeuvre into the property.
    b) It is a clean, professional looking machine, and gets many comments from customers.
    c) It is a powerful machine, providing more than enough pressure (up to 600psi) and strong vacuums leaving the carpet nearly dry on completion.
    d) The build quality is very good. After 6 years we’ve replaced the pump head only once.
    e) As you can take the hose out of the clean tank and put it in a separate container it allows us to use the pump to supply a pre spray lance which produces a more efficient and consistant spray. A big bonus on larger carpets.
    f) It’s easy and quick to empty.
    g) The customer service that we get from Matt at Cleansmart has been excellent. He’s always been very happy to help and offer advice.
    h) We’ve just had our machine serviced again by Cleansmart, the process was easy and very efficient.

All in all a very good machine from a very good company. I would definitely recommend them.

Had the Airflex Pro with adjustable 200psi pump just over a year with no issues what so ever. Gives outstanding results with up to 50ft of hoses.

It’s important to give customers the right first impression & this machine always receives favourable comments.

Despite the size of the machine it’s easy to get in & out of the van in fact with the easy load wheels on the handle the height helps.

Over all very pleased with the machine & would have no hesitation recommending to others especially as you can specify the spec that best suites your needs.

We are coming up to our 2nd year running this machine and it has been a workhorse. No issues. easy to service. the only breakage we have had is the rim of the extraction dome. We use it as a portable machine so in and out all day everyday yet continues to do the business and impress customers time and time again.
One of our biggest jobs in a 300 room 4 storey hotel and its working 5 days solid for 8 hours a day with no trouble. No wonder it comes with a money back guarantee. amazing.
Although its only a 200psi we have been able to utilize it as a hard floor cleaner combining the machine with the Gekko wand and a rotary agitator.

I have seen this video on YouTube. One of the very best on there for Carpet Cleaning. Really does show the power and capability of the Storm 🙂

  11. Martin Kurinsky

Purchased and been trained by this company and from beginning till now providing me with excellent service, keep up the good work

  12. Lewis newby

I have been using this machine for around a year now. It is by far the nicest machine I have owned.
It is easy to use, very maneuverable, and all the performance you could expect from a machine of this spec.

My machine has 400psi pump which is plenty – I normally use between 175-250psi max on carpets. The series electro hd/sd worked well but I recently switched to a parallel setup and it’s working better for me!

I use it in conjunction with the magma heater which is excellent, and if I were to buy another airflex I will certainly opt to build it into the main machine.

I cannot fault its reliability at this stage, the only spare part I needed was a New gate valve when the machine rolled out the van and landed on it. After a Quick call, Matt sent one out to me and I had it back in action the following day.

The purchase was pleasant, swift and Matt was very helpful, the machine arrived within the short time quoted, despite being built to order. I would happily recommend both cleansmart and the airflex machines to anyone.

  13. chris.hallam56

I bought my Airflex Pro 600 in April 2013 and haven’t regretted it for a minute. Although I tend to use it at 400psi for carpets and 200psi for upholstery, I deliberately wanted a 600psi machine so that it wouldn’t be working flat out most of the time. My machine has been a reliable workhorse and enables me to impress my customers with it’s performance. The photo is from today, 10th December 2015, in Stoke on Trent where I have just spent 7 hours (There was a lot of furniture to move!) doing a four bedroom detached house from top to bottom. If I ever needed another machine, Imwouldn’t hesitate to buy another Airflex, not just because of the machine, mouth also because CleanSmart are a pleasant company to deal with.

  14. William veighey

The Airflex pro 800 is a powerful stylish peice of kit , I have been using it since March this year and as of yet no problems. I would recommend this to anyone .

  15. Mac

Decided to get a AirFlex 400psi after visiting cleansmart head office. Great machine with twin vacs and 400psi which is sufficient for my part-time business. It will runs for hours on end !! The machine takes a lot of solution and can extract easily with 50ft hoses. I can load and unload the machine with ease from the van without the need for a ramp.

  16. Robin Ray

I use this machine daily as either a truckmounted machine or a portable. With the two Electro motors in parallel it really packs a punch and works really well at 100 ft or vac hose. Customers are always really impressed with the look and quality of the machine.

  17. Ianfy8

I have used this outstanding machine for over 2 years and it is a sure thing that it is built to last. Its looks are stylish and sleek, impressing the customer when I roll her out of the van. She has been up to every task I ve asked of her, totally reliable, enough power and simple to use. Most carpet and rug jobs can be completed to top standards using around 300 psi and upholstery very low psi. The silencer makes her a lot quieter beast.
Having used other extractors I consider the Airflex the very best on the market and will be looking to use mine for many years to come. Highly recommended.
