It’s absolutely
essential to get the right training before you start out. There’s a lot

which training is best?
Types
of training available
NCCA (National Carpet Cleaner's Association)
The
NCCA is the only Nationally recognised trade association dedicated to the
cleaning of carpets and soft furnishings. The NCCA provide a very good 2 day
course which costs £299.63 including VAT
IICRC
(Institue of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration
Certification)
The
IICRC is a world recognised certifying who provide various training courses
for the cleaning and restoration industry. IICRC courses are among the most
in-depth courses available.
Manufacturer
training
Various
manufacturers also provide training courses – many of which are excellent.
Be aware that, unlike the above training courses, manufacturers training is
likely to be product specific.

One
day carpet technician course
We
run a popular one day carpet cleaning course that may be more useful for new
start businesses (the IICRC and NCCA courses are very good, but it can be
a lot to take in if you don't have any experience). Our course trainer is
Derek Bolton, former Technical Director of the National Carpet Cleaners association,
and possibly the most knowlegeable and helpful person in the industry.
Our
one day carpet technician course will teach you everything you need to know
to get started. Class sizes are small (maximum 12 delegates), and there’s
a more hands-on approach. It’s also great preparation for attending

One
day upholstery cleaning technician course
Carpet
and upholstery cleaning go hand in hand. As a professional carpet cleaner,
you will inevitably be asked to clean upholstery. Our one day upholstery course
is designed to teach you everything you need to know to get started in upholstery
cleaning. Again, there is always an opportunity for you to see how it's done

It’s very important
to start out with the right equipment. You’ll be depending on your machine

are free to offer you impartial advice.
