Introducing the Airflex Bigairflow System Faster drying times
Longer hose runs
Faster & more efficient soil extraction
Less noise in your customers premises
Improved indoor air quality in your customers premises
During the development of Airflex, we took extensive advice from both an independent specialist and Lamb Ametek - the World's leading manufacturer of electric vacuum motors. Dozens of measurements and calculations were made to build a mathematical model charting pressure drops throughout the vacuum system. Recommendations were then made to optimise performance: From the 2” hose port, to the 4” exhaust, every inch of the AirFlex internal vacuum system was assessed and optimised to improve airflow through the machine
Vacuum motors were set up in parallel to improve efficiency, maximise airflow and improve performance over longer hose runs
Our rectangular shaped waste tank was replaced with an airflow friendly cylindrical vacuum chamber
Flexing of the waste tank wall was reduced to almost nothing - giving the operator more responsive performance at the wand
3 x waste tank intake pipes were replaced by one big bore. This reduced air friction internally, as well as the risk of leaks from the recovery tank
We were forced to drop our beloved internal silencing system, replacing with an optional big bore external exhaust silencer
Lamb Ametek designed a new high performance vacuum motor to perfectly compliment the Airflex system
These changes (and a few more important ones we’ll keep to ourselves for now!) make AirFlex an incredibly airflow efficient extractor!
